These shellfish live on the lagoon’s sandy seabed, but can also be found near the shores of the Adriatic Sea, where they are fished with very particular nets called ‘trezze’, linked to cylindrical traps. The trapped crabs, once they are extracted, have to undergo a tough selection by industry experts, who only put only the best and freshest ones on the market .
They have a low calorie content.
