Scientific name: Alopias Vulpinus
It is a solitary species, it often moves on the surface and away from the coasts. It feeds on live prey and in particular sardines, anchovies, mackerel, skipjack and similar species.
You can occasionally catch it with drifting nets. You can find it in the market where it is almost always frozen and usually sold sliced.
You can cook it on the grill or in the oven, or have fun with more exotic recipes!
